One person found this helpful. The spinmatic rod is also not as whippy as the presso which i think adds to the sensitivity. Once sealed with cork sealer it has a nice yellowish cork finish. Just remeber it is an ultrlite pole so don t expect to be landing 20 pound fish with it unless you are careful.

I believe they are just regular aluminum oxide guides but they do the job. The cork is decent with some filler. All in all a decent rod.
